99 days to go!!

I have been thinking for weeks about Audrey's middle name. I added a poll on the right side of my blog and I would like all of you to vote on your favorite. We have been leaning towards Grace just because we like the way it sounds, however Josephine and Joy have more sentimental meanings. Josephine was my Grandma's middle name before she was adopted and I have always wanted to name my little girl that because my G'ma and I are so close. Also, if her middle name is Josephine we could call her Audrey Jo. I love nicknames! Joy is my middle name...I have always loved my middle name because I think it suits me perfectly. I think it would be great to pass that name down also. I don't know if I will ever make up my mind...HELP!!!

25 weeks

I can't believe I am in my 25th week already! Scott pointed out the other day that I am almost in my third trimester...wow! We don't have much time left! I like to think I am usually organized and well prepared, but this pregnancy has me crazy! We haven't bought anything except a few outfits I couldn't live without...I can't wait for our showers so I can get everything set up and ready!!!

I've been keeping myself busy by making things for Audrey's room. The letters for her wall turned out so cute!! Since I can laugh at myself I am going to tell you all that while gluing the rhinestones onto the wood letters I accidentally glued the bottle of super glue to my right pointer finger. I wish I could tell you how I managed to do that?!?

And while we are all laughing at how silly pregnancy has made me, I would like to share another story. Now, before I share this I have to ask all my daycare moms who are reading to please not think I am insane and you should still trust me with your child! (LOL...that sounds really bad!) Today at work one of my kids fell and I saw her out of the corner of my eye. I wasn't really sure if she hit her head so I was checking her out and saw what I thought was a broken blood vessel on her nose. I was getting ready to put ice on it in case it was going to swell and Monica (the other girl I work with) pointed out that the "broken blood vessel" was just blueberry apple sauce. I laughed so hard I almost peed...lol. Wow, I love being pregnant!

I have been so forgetful lately that it can be pretty frustrating. When we first found out I was pregnant I bought Scott a book for expectant fathers. He has been faithfully reading his book and seems to enjoy sharing what he is learning. I must have done or said something stupid the other day because this is the response I got from my husband: "You know, my book says not to tell you this, but when your pregnant your brain actually shrinks." Yeah, thanks honey!

Now I have to follow that up with a mention of the cake Scott made me for my birthday...as you can see by the picture he is quite the artist...lol. My husband is such a sweetie! For some reason everytime I upload the pic it wants to be vertical and honestly I am sick of trying to fix it...lol.

One more thing before I go...at 25 weeks the baby is about 13 inches and weighs a pound and a half. Also, the baby has hair now and you can see its color and texture. (With my luck, my little girl will be bald!) I have been feeling so good lately! I can actually stay awake until 10pm now...it's amazing! For the past few days I have been feeling a foot or hand pushing against my ribs and I am trying to decide if Audrey is going to do dance or karate...lol!

I also need to make a correction on my last post. The etsy shop where I got my Maker shirt is http://www.carmelturtle.etsy.com/.

Hope you got a good laugh today! Love you all!

Cross your fingers!

Say a pray, cross your fingers, don't walk under a ladder....just do whatever it takes for Scott to get a job!! I have some potentially good news. (I hope I don't jinx this!) In the Wyoming Advance there was a job posting for the United States Postal Service. Scott called and there are five openings! $130 dollars later (hey, whatever it takes!) Scott has ordered his study packet and is now preparing to take the test to be a mailman. So, we are now praying even harder, crossing our fingers and avoiding black cats and ladders...lol.

Fun stuff

One of my favorite things to do online is browse etsy.com. It is a website were people sell all types of handmade goods. I LOVE this website!! Anyways, while browsing etsy earlier in December I ran across the cutest maternity shirt. It was hand-dyed and screen printed and had a beautiful message.
Thanks to my wonderful mommy, I am now the proud owner of this great shirt! If you want one too, visit CaramelTurtle's shop on etsy.com.

While shopping at Target today, I found this cute dress and leggings and Audrey just HAD to have it!! It was so darn cute that I just had to share! I even took it to my mom's house because I was so excited and now she is knitting matching booties...our little girl is so spoiled!

Haven't posted in a while...

Scott and I had a great holiday, but as always it was super busy! Over four days we managed nine places for Christmas! The holidays are always so busy for us! Next year when we have our little girl we are not doing so much running around. I want a couple days to just enjoy the holidays with my family.
So what's new with life... I don't remember if I posted this yet or not, but Scott and I decided on a name. (err...Scott decided on a name..lol) Our baby girl's name is Audrey. And since Scott picked it out I get to pick the middle name. I'm taking my time deciding...I like to be able to change my mind 800 times...lol.
Scott is still looking for a job. He's been on unemployment for 2 months now and he is getting very frustrated. I imagine it is hard for a man to not be able to find a job...You know, with all that testosterone and what not. I know he is struggling because he feels as if he is not supporting his family. Hopefully the new year will bring new opportunities!
Take care everyone! We love you all!
